Dear Neeru,

Of course, nobody knows the answer to the typical question you have put before the forum. I am still attaching the duties of a welfare officer as defined in the Act.

Regards,
J.S. Malik

Hi,

The duties of a Welfare Officer have been laid down under the Factories Act. Mr. Malik has rightly pointed this out in his attachment. However, I feel that it may be specific to Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. Other states may have different regulations. Keep on sharing.
