It's better to go through the syllabus and concepts for the HR elective in the UGC exam and prepare accordingly by referring to HR books of MBA and various authors such as Flippo, Ashwathappa.

Hi,

From this year onwards, there is negative marking in UGC NET for objective questions. As far as books are concerned, you can buy Trueman Publications books meant especially for UGC NET. There will be two books from this publication house. One is a general book for all streams, which includes reasoning, general knowledge, number series, teaching aptitude, etc., along with sample question papers. The other is your subject book, i.e., management book, which will include the syllabus for your objective and subjective paper.

If you are in the final year, you can participate in the NET exam. But once the result is published, you have to obtain the degree within the next two years; otherwise, your result will become invalid.

There are three papers in UGC-NET. This year, there was no negative marking in Paper 1 and Paper 2, and the third paper is subjective, so there can't be negative marking.
