Dear Friends,

I just wanted to check if a company that is solely engaged in trading business with a Head Office (HO) and a Godown at two different premises is required to register under the Factory Act for the HO. Additionally, I would like to know if our HO is already registered under the Factory Act, is it necessary to also register our HO under the UP Shops and Establishment Act. Is it obligatory?

Looking for your guidance. It's urgent, please share your views.

Just want to check if your office is in an industrial complex where the Factories Act is applicable. If you are only operating an office, you are not required to make any compliance under the Shops & Commercial Establishments Act in UP.
