How Can I Claim My EPS Money for a One-Time Settlement After 9 Years with My Employer?

pon1965
Dear members,

My past employer has deposited the Employees' Pension Scheme details with the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner. I worked with that employer for 9 years. How can I claim the money deposited under EPS? I am interested in a one-time settlement.

You can withdraw the accumulated provident fund by submitting the PF withdrawal form and getting it approved by your company. PF withdrawal forms include Form 10c and Form 19. As per labor law, the PF amount will get credited within 45 days. You can check the same online.

Dear,

You need to fill up Form 10C, get it attested by your employer, and then deposit it with the PF office.

Mr. J.S. Malik,

The filled-up Form 10C has already been submitted to RPFC, and the acknowledgment has been received. My question is, can I draw the accumulated amount available in my EPS as a one-time settlement rather than waiting to receive a monthly pension?

Dear Ponraj,

The pension scheme is applicable only to those who have completed 10 years of continuous service, so you can receive the EPS amount in one installment.

Dear Mr. Prashant,

What is the formality for getting the EPS amount in one stroke? Is there any form available, or will the PF office automatically send it to my address?

Dear [Recipient],

Form 10C is to be filled for this purpose. If your services are less than nine and a half years, you will receive your complete withdrawal.

The statement that continuous service of 10 years is required for PF pension is not correct. Breaks in service, split service in various organizations, etc., are also applicable. But altogether, 10 years' service is required.
