Hi,

I have worked for 4 years, 10 months, and 3 days in a company. Will I be eligible for Gratuity? If yes, can anyone send me the rule as per the act confirming the same.

Regards,
Murty

Sorry to say, but you are not eligible for gratuity as it is applicable only to those who have completed a tenure of 5 years or more.

First, finalize with the appropriate government authority for your company. Then, review the respective Central or State Government rules for claiming the gratuity amount before the controlling authority under The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.

Ensure that you comply with all necessary regulations and procedures to facilitate a smooth process for gratuity claims. It is crucial to understand and follow the specific guidelines set forth by the relevant governing bodies to avoid any delays or complications in receiving the gratuity amount. By adhering to the established rules and regulations, you can ensure a seamless and efficient process for gratuity claims.
