How Can We Use Monthly Employee Feedback to Boost Happiness and Retention?

shweta@southwestpinnacle.
Hi Shweta,

Please can you forward me a questionnaire? We would like to take feedback from all our employees on a monthly basis so that we can understand the major problems they are facing, how we can improve ourselves, how we can keep them happy, retain them, etc.

Thanks,

Shweta

Shweta,

From what you have written, it appears that you want to conduct exploratory research. So, just ask them to list 3 points in the order of importance, the problems they are facing, if any. What needs to be done to eliminate or reduce the problems, etc. Once you have gathered that information, you may be able to prepare a quantitative questionnaire to elicit their responses using a Likert scale.

How many employees do you have? Do you know how much it will cost to conduct a monthly survey? Will that be cost-effective, and can that be justified in this period of an impending recession?

I think I was not able to explain what was required. We need to talk with our employees who are working on-site. We need to know how they are feeling, what problems they are facing at the site, any personal problems. Just want to get to know them better for general feedback.

Shweta, I am still in the dark. Could you kindly tell me (if required by private message) more about your organization, its size, activities undertaken, the type of workers (qualified or not), etc.

On CiteHR, many do not explain the scenario and their specific requirements. This makes it extremely difficult for us to give effective answers in an efficient way. Thanks for the quick response.

I also suggest that you use the search facility at the top blue bar, select advanced search, and use the keywords from your query to see if your question has already been answered in response to someone else's query.

Dear Ms. Shwetha,

Please find attached the link to the employees' feedback questionnaire. I have posted many questionnaires earlier. Those are general, and you will need to revise them to suit your needs.

Link: [Employee Satisfaction Survey Questionnaires](https://www.citehr.com/164006-employee-satisfaction-survey-questionnaires.html)

If you are unable to access them here, please email me at the address provided below, and I will forward them to you.

Best wishes,

Hi Gary,

Thank you. Could you please forward me a layout for a confirmation letter that specifies that the company is confirming an employee but indicates that the employee needs to improve as they are lacking in practical knowledge? They need to take corrective measures to enhance their performance. We would also like to inform them in a polite manner that if they do not improve, the company may need to reconsider their position.

Thank you.

Can anyone help me prepare a questionnaire on HR outsourcing? Please reply as early as possible. :(

My dear Sweta,

I would suggest that you not copy any questionnaire. You probably get numerous questionnaires if you search on the internet, but they may not fulfill your needs. Try to understand your organization's culture, your people's expectations from the organization, and vice versa. Improve your communications through more than one channel, and then you can create your own. Obviously, you can take suggestions from your friends and from this forum.

Hi friends,

This is Chiru. I am currently pursuing my MBA and working on a project regarding employee disciplinary action. I kindly request you, my friends, to share your questionnaires, as well as the needs and significance of the study with me.

Thank you.

Please do not request finished projects or questionnaires on this forum without providing enough information. Instead of asking for a completed project, please search CiteHr where some projects are attached. Then, conduct a literature survey and formulate your aim and objectives for the research (in consultation with the host organization). You also need a conceptual framework for that. Decide what hypotheses you want to test.

If you have not done any of the above essential preparations for conducting a project, I would advise you to please do so and then pose a precise question.

Please see my post on Research Methodology (Ppt slides attached) at research projects and Author Workshops at Publishing in International journals, and my post at need urgent help for my MBA final year project (HR).

I am not sure if you have read any literature on questionnaire design. If not, go to questionnaire design + guidelines - Google Search. Also, see MBA Project/Dissertation where an MBA project is attached as an example.

A post by Prodcons also has information on Research Methodology. Please also see the post by naveeis4u at Employees Satisfaction Level to see the type of background information that will be of help in designing questionnaires.

Also, view and digest the message that ahujamamamia posted at citehr Marble Story. Try to become the marble statue rather than the tile.

Please read the post by Sayanasayu at questionnaire or welfare measures - reg.

Simhan
