Casual

The word 'Casual' is used to describe an act or event that occurs by chance or accident, without any pre-planning or anticipation in the normal course.

Similarly, casual leave is taken when an emergency prevents an employee from attending the office and issuing a prior leave application.

For example, casual workers refer to workers who are not part of the regular workforce but are hired in emergencies.
