Struggling to Withdraw PF from Previous Employer Without Proper Relieving – Any Advice?

4 years ago, I was working in an MNC in Bangalore. Then, I got a job in Chennai, and now I am working in Chennai.

I want to withdraw my PF amount from my former company. The problem is, I was not properly relieved from that company, so I am not able to get a signature from the employer.

Can I withdraw my PF amount from the Chennai Provident Fund office without the help of the employer? If possible, please provide the necessary details.

You cannot withdraw it from Chennai. You can only withdraw it from the Bangalore office. Fill up Form 19 and 10C, deposit it in RPFC Bangalore office with a letter stating that your previous employer is not attesting the form and is harassing you. That's why you have deposited the form directly. The PF office will send that form to your employer for attestation, and legally, they are bound to attest it and return it to the PF office within five days of receiving.
