Planning a One-Day Office Picnic Near Pune: Any Suggestions for Great Spots?

I want to arrange a one-day picnic for our office project team near Pune on 28th June 2009. We are around 30 to 35 people. Could you please suggest some nice places?

If you are interested in trekking, a good place is Maron Valley near Khandala. If you like only jungle spread (3 to 4 hours walk through thick forest), then Jokhnani forest is another option. Be cautious about snake/leech bites in the second option. The team should include a doctor or a first aider. However, it will be a very good experience for adventurous people.

You can go to Ganpati Phule. You will find nice and clean beaches, but it will be a 3 to 4-hour drive from Pune. Alternatively, you can go to Lonavla.

You might want to avoid the usual "try a rustic spot" and perhaps include some team-building activities. This is a farm in Mulshi.
