Seeking Guidance on India Labor Rules for Garment Sector: Need Help with Wages and Compensation Details

Hi, I am a compliance manager. I need India labor rules and regulations for the garment sector. Can anybody help me with this? I require all basic information regarding minimum wages, overtime calculation, and labor compensation packages. Furthermore, I would like to understand the compensation employees receive if they are removed from their position or if they resign.

Hi,

You have to pay the wages as prescribed by the labor department. Overtime calculation should be based on the hourly rate applied to the basic wages.
