Do's & Donts As A New Employee

Would you like to share your experiences of your 1st day in your company? Also some tips- do's and donts as a new employee?
As I am joining this new employer soon next month, I am quite excited and wanna make it a great long term association.

Hi Nisha,
Congrats on the commencement of your career. I hope you can remember this excitement for a very very long time. Its a special feeling no doubt.... :D Many of us have forgotten the eve of our first jobs I am sure, replaced by the stress of the 'rat-race'.
There are quite a few things you should keep in mind in the first few days of your first job. The most important thing to remember is that you have finished one stage of your education, the next is beginning. There is always a big gap between the classroom and actual practice.
