Are Company Circulars on Plain Paper Acceptable or Should They Be on Letterhead?

HinnaGarg
Hi All,

Guide me on the following: In my company, circulars/office orders are not issued on the letterhead of the company. Instead, they are issued on plain paper with just the name of the company written on it. Is this right or wrong? If it is to be issued on letterhead, then is there any notification or some legal view related to this?

Dear Hina,

There is no rule as such that circulars have to be issued on letterhead. It is an internal policy of the company.

Even in my organization, circulars and office orders are not issued on letterhead. The main use of the company letterhead is for external communication, not for internal purposes. Hope this clears up your query. Dear Hina.
