New Startup HR Policies: Who Should Evaluate Them for Effectiveness?

How do we get HR policies evaluated for a new company? I have recently joined a startup company and finished making the policies and procedures. Who would be the right person or system to get them evaluated?

Hi,

Internally, it can be done by a cross-functional team led by the owner of the documentation who will authorize the version of the policy. The team members should understand very well the processes in their function and the linkages with other functions. They need to be able to look at strategic activities and should be experienced in the operations of a particular policy being designed. You can also give it to a management consultant to validate this.

I am currently working on a similar project and have just defined the first draft for a Senior Executive in a company in India. This is for their Foreign Travel Policy.
