Hi Mital,
Recruitment Process Outsourcing is the outsourcing of a part or the whole of the recruitment process of a company.
The first thing in the RPO process is to understand the recruitment process of the client. Processes vary from company to company.
Once you have a complete understanding of the process, conduct a thorough study of the number of people/resources you will need to execute each step.
For example, when posting jobs on job sites, determine the number of jobs you need to post per month. Calculate the time required to post jobs on, let's say, 5 job portals with 50 jobs each, totaling 250 individual posts. Estimate how much time one person would need to complete this task.
After assessing each process, time, and manpower required, factor in additional costs such as workstation costs, electricity, PCs, maintenance, welfare, etc.
This analysis will provide you with the cost per process and cost per resource. Once you have these costs, add a margin for profit and present the quote to the client.
Clients may also expect you to manage relationships with external agencies or market the jobs. If these tasks are part of your services, ensure to charge accordingly.
In short, RPO is similar to BPO for recruitment.
