Is Your Cellphone Safe? Simple Steps to Check Its Authenticity and Health Impact

Shreya Technologies
Hi All,

Cellphones have become an integral part of our lives, but we never know whether the phone we use may be impairing our health. I have come across this information and thought of sharing it with all of you. You can use these tips when buying a new phone or checking your existing phone. I have tested this with my Nokia and Motorola phones, and it's working fine. Kindly share your feedback after trying this out on your cellphone, especially users of other mobile phone manufacturers like Samsung, LG, HTC, etc.

Regards,
Achyut

Hi Achyut,

One can never think that there could be such a simple way to figure out such complex information. I tried it with my Sony Ericsson...mine is Finland manufactured too!! Interesting and useful indeed.

I would still like to have the basis of this identification trick. I found out "00" but my phone is not up to the mark, and I'll soon be throwing it out of the window. Further, I believe most of the mobile phones are made in China.

Achyut, please clarify. I reckon that the IMEI no. which appears by pressing *#06# key is just a unique code of your phone instrument and to cross-check with the number on its container/box, to say it is original.

Make a note of these IMEI numbers. It will be useful to file a case if you lose your mobile.
