My dear VAFI founders - Sumit and Abhi,
I was also frustrated looking at Sareu's response. Since our motive is to pass information and awareness to all women in our country, it should not matter if someone points their finger and says whether we are doing anything or nothing at all. Going forward, we will have many Sareus making worthless comments. I am happy with my team members and I know the contribution and hard work (duhhh only if that lady had ever seen our post on Safety of female members). Keep going. Great move guys... let's see more members pouring in and give valuable suggestions.
And for people out there who are wondering what can be done for helping us:
First, we need your support in joining hands in this fight against Female insecurity. Second, we will be sending you information (once we have our content ready), which you may pass on to your colleagues and friends - which would be about general safety awareness and tips. Third, we will be having an information access center which will have info on all local (whole India) emergency police numbers for contacting in case you are in need of help (access is for free - Sareu - please note, no fees for this). Fourth, we will also have a session where women can post their queries on their insecurity/or if they are going through a tough situation either at work or on their way home, solutions on assistance will be provided to them by the members. We will also have a lawyer/consultant and counselor (professionally certified people) join hands with us, to be a part of VAFI and contribute their expertise in guiding people.
What we want from you - the members is: If you have any valuable suggestions on improving VAFI or suggestions for female security, please keep us posted on the same. We would be happy to receive help and input from your end on improving VAFI.
