Is it Human Resources Management or Human Resource Management?

nlalithaa
Please let me know the correct spelling , is it Human Resources Management or Human Resource Management. The difference is 'S'. What is the difference between Human Resources and Resource.

Dear Lalithaa,
It is "Human Resource Management". Don't worry about the 's'. Just forget it. This is not a case of singular or plural. It is the name of a subject. I can understand your confusion but don't lose your sleep on this.

Dear All:
It's always Human Resource Management. However, in recent times, a new concept has arisen in the domain of HRM termed as "Humane Resource Management" which takes into account the emotional, social, societal and spiritual needs of employees beyond the workplace. It triggers motivation to levels of professional excellence. Fundamentally, it goes into to developing a 'high sense of care and concern' of employees - thus bonding human relationships within the organization, to the benefit of all.
Take Care
