Comprehensive Guide on PF Withdrawal, Employer Non-cooperation, and Reimbursement

I have worked for over a period of more than two years with the company. I left the company without serving the notice period of three months that was agreed upon. Thereafter, I requested the cancellation of PF, and they have sent me the cancellation form. I completed the formalities, and later they informed me that the PF would not be reimbursed since the notice period was not served. Is there any option for me to get it reimbursed? I wrote to the company about my requirements, but they have not responded. Kindly advise me on what needs to be done to get my PF reimbursed.

Dear getting off PF is not reimbursement. This amount is deposited with the government for which you have to fill up a form. If the company is not signing your form, you can deposit these forms to the PF department. Write a letter with the form stating that your employer is not signing and harassing you.

Dear Abhilash,

PF is a separate entity, which is deducted from your salary, so you are entitled to PF. You can fill out the forms, i.e., Form-19 and 10C, and submit them to your company to get authorized signatures on the PF form. If the company does not agree, you can fill out the PF form and deposit it directly with the PF department. Additionally, write a letter to the RPFC about your case.

Thanks for the quick response. I was based in Kollam, Kerala when I was working for the company. Currently, I am placed in Trivandrum, Kerala. Is it possible for me to lodge a complaint at the PF office in Trivandrum even though I worked in Kollam?

I have approached the PF office for my withdrawal, and they said it can be processed if I provide the HDFC SLIC enrollment number to the PF office. Could you please provide clarification on this matter?

Thank you.
