I am an MBA final year student in Salem (TN), and I've been placed with an export-based textiles company for an HR executive position. We have to do a project there for 3 months. They have around 7500 workers. This particular company is starting its systematic HR activities only from this year, and they expect a lot of new HR practices to be successfully implemented by us (the newly recruited people, i.e., fresh MBA students). So, I want to know about the general HR practices and how the HR system will actually function in the textile industry. I aim to provide my best ideas for the benefit of the stakeholders as well as the company. Please provide me with some ideas and information about HR activities in the textiles industry.
