Struggling to Check Your PF Balance? Here's How to Find Your Account Status

My PF account is MH/BAN/45665/31695. Could you please let me know how to check my PF balance status?

There are two options:

1. You can approach the Labour Commissioner's office at DMS compound and get a copy of the same, particularly for your industry.

2. You can get a copy of the book for a price from C. Sitaraman & Co, 37 Royapettah High Road, Chennai 600014. Phone: 28113950. Branches at 46 Moor St., Chennai 600001 - Phone: 25342503 (or) Asiad Colony, Anna Nagar East, Chennai 600101 - Phone: 26154525.

If you are working, you can contact your HR department since they are sending annual accounts to the PF office; they will have an accumulated list.

Moreover, the PF office will send annual account slips every year (ending with February of every year) through the employer for each employee - you can know the status from this.

Alternatively, you can contact the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the PF office where your office PF account is maintained; he will guide you.

It will normally take 45 days to settle. However, you can track the status of your claim on the EPFO website at EPFO, or you can contact the professionals at the PF office in person if you are in the local area.

My employer has not provided me any kind of account slips, nor has he informed us whether they receive them or not. Please let me know what I can do in this case.
