Can I Still Withdraw My PF from Accenture After 1.5 Years? Seeking Advice on Possible Issues

mvsun1
Hi,

I worked with Accenture for 1 year and later joined another company. I worked between October '2006 and October '2007. Now, in May '2009, I am planning to withdraw my PF that was with Accenture. I have taken a new PF account with the current company, so can I withdraw the PF money from my Accenture account now? As it's been a long time, nearly 1.5 years, will there be any problem such as lapsing of my account or anything of this sort? Please, can someone let me know about this? I am waiting for your reply. Thanks in advance.

Dear Venky,

There is no such expiry date to withdraw PF. Please fill up Form 19 & Form 10C, get it attested by your previous employer, and submit it to the concerned PF office.

You can either withdraw your accumulations with the PF department or transfer them to your current PF account by submitting Form 13, duly completed. If you choose to transfer it, your seniority for the pension will be continued.
