Looking for Team Leader (Chinese)
The primary responsibility of this position is to execute the day to day Operations for the TSS Liquidity & Treasury Product Operations. The candidate will be reporting to the Team Leader -TLIP. The role involves close coordination and working with other client operations sites to ensure business goals and objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities would include:-
· Understand and participate in all processing functions and products within the unit (including verification), ensuring all relevant deadlines and stipulated controls are met in accordance with documented procedures on the QMS
· To fully investigate all enquiries resolving them in a timely and customer focused manner.
· Identify opportunities to improve process flow and quality reviewing products from all aspects. Be instrumental in updating/amending these processes.
· Work with minimum supervision and act on own initiative to identify tasks to be undertaken
· Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of the process.
· Establish excellent relationships with the client operations site with whom the team will need to interact on a regular basis.
· To be instrumental in identifying system faults/enhancements and be involved in any system implementations from a user viewpoint
· Prepare the weekly / monthly MIS reports
Desired Skills:
· Expert in Chinese language (read, write & speak)--Must
· Graduate with Minimum 4 to 5 years - Financial Operations Processing experience, with aExperience and a working knowledge of various aspects in TLIP Products and aware of the Sweeping Processes ,Pooling Processes, Enquiries, Charges and Recalculations, Exception Tasks - Proofing/Postbank/RTM ,Expert in Administration Tasks e.g. rates, reports.
· 2 years of experience in a back office operations of a reputed foreign bank or it's processing arm/private sector bank/public sector bank as a supervisor would be beneficial.
· Knowledge of SWIFTS & international payment conventions & practices is a must.
· Good Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels.
· Excellent written & oral communication skills in English.
· A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate.
· Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues.
· An acute client focus.
· Strong PC, project management, and analytical skills.
· Knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Experience of working / partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met.
