How Do I Transfer My EPS-95 Account to a New Employer with a Separate PF Trust?

Hi,

I have changed my job, and my PF amount has already been transferred to my new employer. I want to know what the procedure is for transferring EPS-95 membership account. Somebody told me to get a scheme certificate. What is Form No. 13, and will it simultaneously transfer PF and EPS-95? Please note that my employer has a separate PF trust, and PF is being maintained in it. How would I know if my EPS-95 amount has been transferred?

Since your previous employer has its own PF trust, you may submit an application in Form-13 and forward it to the local PF office through your employer for the transfer of EPS A/c. Alternatively, you may obtain a Scheme Certificate for which you have to submit the application in Form - 10C.

I want to know the pensionable salary for EPS 95, whether the ceiling of 6500 has been changed. Can you send me a copy of EPS 95's rules and regulations with the latest amendments.

Form 13 is used for the transfer of PF & EPS. Accordingly, if you have already applied for the transfer of PF, generally the PF authorities will prepare Annexure K containing details of PF & EPS. Hence, you should contact the PF authorities to inquire whether the transfer of EPS has already taken place.
