People are not getting their PF money, or it's taking too long. Do you know what the reason behind that is?

Ask your ex-organization if your PF withdrawal form has been submitted or not. If yes, ask them for the acknowledgment copy of the same.

Most people don't know if their employer has submitted their PF form to the PF department or not. They think that by submitting the PF form to the employer, their responsibilities are completed. But sometimes the employer has not submitted the form and gives wrong information to employees, stating that it has been submitted.

If the PF form has been submitted to the PF department but there is a problem, the PF department will send back the form to the employer for a proper answer. Sometimes, the employer ignores it or is unable to provide any reply.

There are many reasons for the delay in getting the PF amount, so you have to find out with your ex-employer or the PF department.

I will tell you one thing. Whenever you are leaving an organization, at that time, you have to fill all the PF forms like Form No. 19 and 10C (in case you want to withdraw the PF amount). Make a covering letter and obtain a receipt from your ex-employer. The employer will ensure whether the PF form is correct or not.

I want to share one more thing. The employer will be able to send your PF form to the PF office after two months of your resignation. So, it will take two months and then the government procedure. I think it will also take a minimum of one month. So, it will be a total of three months.

Coming to the topic, in case of rejection of your PF form, your ex-employer will be responsible for this, and then they have to make you aware as well. Then, you will be able to fill out a new PF form and follow the same process as discussed earlier.

So, don't worry at all. Your ex-employer will never want to repeat this problem again.

They can't ignore it because you have a valid point. You have already taken the receipt in your covering letter.

I think you misunderstood. This is not my case. I know all the processes as I am working in Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws profile. I have posted this message for those people who do not have an idea about the same. They think that they have filled the form, so they are supposed to get the money, and they are waiting, waiting... till the limit. But, in the end, they do not get the money. At that time, they need some perfect, good guidance to help them get their valuable money.

I am not saying that this happens in every organization, but it quietly happens in some organizations. That is why I have mentioned at the end of the message that, "there are many reasons for the delay in getting PF."
