Understanding Dr. Kurt Lewin's Change Process: How Can It Shift Employee Attitudes and Skills?

fendiwou
Hi all,

Can anybody give me some information about Dr. Kurt Lewin's change process? How should it be implemented to change employee attitudes, skills, and behavior?

Thank you.
Rusty
I can give you one example. You may grasp the concept.

Example to stop the chewing habit: You want to stop her from chewing gum. Apply Kurt Lewin's three steps for change:

Freezing: Just restrict her from chewing completely - NO-NO-NO.

Moving: Shift her to a safe alternative for the reason she chews. Try giving her herbal 'soaff' or leaves to chew.

Refreezing: Freeze the activity of chewing gum so that she will switch to chewing herbal leaves, which are beneficial for her. Gradually, she might stop chewing gum altogether. This will bring about a change in her personal habits.

I hope this example helps you.

Dear A. Srinivasan,

Nice presentation on Economics; but please consider starting a new thread for a different purpose. One could only find this presentation by luck.

Please don't mind the suggestion I made.

With regards,
