Good VR....ALL THE BEST. All of us [I hope I can say 'us'] are happy to have contributed to your right decision.
So I have one more competitor to handle in this wide, bad world of Recruiting, who wants to stick to core ethics :p. But jokes apart, it will be worth it in the long run VR.

Its illegal to charge the candidates. I don't know of any stringent laws are there or not but it should be made and applied. Placement and job are sensitive matter. So lets not play with it. U can convince clients to pay for your services.
At least it is unethical morally.
Would advise candidates not to pay to any consultant for your hard work.
Others and all are doing can not be a justification for us doing the same. Think. THINK n Think.....

Hello VR
Usually clients pay for your recruitment efforts, say 8.33% of the annual salary of the candidate.
Charging candidates is a bad practice and unethical.
