Struggling to Access HRVillage: Has Anyone Faced Account Activation Issues?

Hello seniors,

As you know, like CiteHR, there are other management and HR-related websites like HRVillage.com, ITGuGs.com, and ManagementParadise.com. Has anyone of you registered in [link outdated-removed]? It's really helpful, lots of information is there. But I do have a problem - I have registered there two times with different usernames, but I'm still not able to post or even download any documents. A message is displayed that my account (neither of the username works) is not activated yet. Can anyone help me if you have registered?

Please, it's urgent. I need to download some important documents from there.

This is CiteHR. Anything you want to ask about CiteHR and not any other competitors' site. Got it? 😳😡

You surprised us by asking about another HR website problem or question on Cite HR, expecting that somebody would respond. In a way, you are bringing all these HR website names to our ears. Hmm, negative marketing!

Anyways, rest assured that Cite HR members will not be able to solve Management Paradise problems.

Don't take things at face value. Don't jump to conclusions and start criticizing people without even trying to understand their situation. On a customer service and marketing front, this implies a lack of active listening. The person is facing problems logging in or creating a login. An appropriate answer would be to contact that site's administrator.

Finally, membership of CITEHR doesn't imply a "bonded labor" concept. If you do not encourage people to participate in various forums or associations in your company, then sadly, this is an indicator of bonded labor (refer to WRAP/ETI, etc).

I especially thank SVSRANA for at least understanding me. Registering on this site doesn't mean that we don't have the right to join other related sites. It's just knowledge sharing and not so-called 'marketing,' as mentioned by one of the above members. I didn't expect this kind of reaction from members. :huh:

It's a site mainly for students.

Anyways, I registered. I got a link to my email, used the URL, and logged in with my username and password (not activation code). For downloading, you need to contribute at least one post for any forum. After that, I believe you can download/upload.

The only thing I probably did not like about your post was the childish language used. I hope your future posts are in plain English and not SMS lingo. As far as comparisons with other websites are concerned, I also do not like unnecessary appreciation for other sites. Everyone knows how cool they are, but at the same time, I feel your question could have been just to ask for a username and password for the site you wanted data from. Your appreciation for these other sites was truly unwarranted and unnecessary. Please don't take it otherwise, and I am sure the other members did not mean to be rude.
