PhD Procedure & Topic

Dear Friends,
I have done my MBA(HR) in 2008 & am currently working as HR Manager in a MNC. I wish to pursue doctorate in HR from Mumbai University. Could you please guide me with the procedure for the same. I would be obliged if you could provide any suggestions on contemporary topics which could be researched.

I do not know the rules and regulations at Mumbai University. From experience I can say that it is better to choose a topic that you like and, more importantly, can get access to data required. Some general guide lines are at
