The Supreme Court has approved only 3 colleges in Tamil Nadu:

1) RLI Chennai, or CLI in Mumbai (Diploma in Industrial Safety)
2) NIT Trichy (M.Tech in Industrial Safety)
3) MEPCO

Others can be pursued through distance education from Anna University in Coimbatore and Annamalai University in Chidambaram.

This is a good course you are going to join. The selection is the best in the industry as today safety is first in our industries. The demand is high, and the subject is very wide. Also, you should have knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 (IMS certification). It's an added advantage.

You should join only a Gov. App. college. The big companies check for a Reg. College certificate. This will also be helpful in Gulf Jobs.
