Struggling with Writing an SOP for HR Executive Course? Need Sample for Guidance

I need to prepare a statement of purpose for admission to an executive course in HR. I have no idea of how to prepare it. Request you to please share any sample of SOP that I can use to understand how to make one.

Hello Akshita,

I strongly suggest that you NOT just copy any sample and proceed with the process. You could end up later feeling that your choice was wrong - just look at some of the postings on this site.

First, jot down the various reasons, no matter how trivial, for why you want to pursue HR - why not choose anything else?

Next, consider how you believe you will professionally benefit by choosing HR - different from the previous reasons.

Then, address the challenges you anticipate based on your limited exposure in this field and explain how you think this course will help you overcome them.

Once you have all these points written down IN FRONT OF YOU, you will naturally know how to incorporate them into a Statement of Purpose. Trust me.
