I am so confused about the current labor law. I wanted to know about an employee who is due for residence visa renewal in November. He does not want to renew his visa with his employer, so the employer accepted the resignation and informed him that he will work until October 31, 2009. What about the ban? Is he going to have a labor ban?
As per the UAE Labour Law, an employee is eligible for annual leave of 30 days on completion of 12 months. Alternatively, on completion of 11 months, the 12th month will be his leave.
Can someone clarify this, please?
