Curious About Earned Leave Deductions: Are PF and ESI Taken Out?

I want to know whether PF and ESI are deducted from Earned Leave.

For earned leave availed, EPF and ESI will be deducted, and it takes place automatically because ESI/EPF is deducted from the salary, which includes leave days that are paid. On the other hand, for encashment of earned leave, no deduction is required to be made.
