Who First Used the Critical Path Method (CPM) in Production Planning? Can You Help?

Can anyone answer my one question? I'm not getting its answer. I got this question in my production planning and control exam. The question was, which company has the Critical Path Method (CPM) first? As per me, it was originated by DuPont, but I'm not able to find its answer. Can anyone help me out by providing its answer?

Thanks for replying back to me. I know it was Dupont who originated the Critical Path Method, but I'm not getting the exact answer. The question I received in my exam had different answer options. Anyhow, thanks a lot!

I wonder what these students who use these services really learn. Their shallow knowledge will be shown up at the interview.
