Thesis On Hr Metrics

hi...this is pavan kotha from UK.I am pursuing my masters in Project Managenment and doing my thesis on HR metrics.I am unable to move ahead with my project as i am unaware to which extent i need to confine my research. I need to do research on how hr metrics are implemented in project based organizations.Can any one plz suggest me........with required literature and questionaires.....

Sir actually my proposed title is "hr metrics:tool to maximize and measure the dynamics of project based organizations".A project based organization refers to the variety of organizational forms which involves the creation of temporary systems for performing purely project activities or tasks.That is i need to relate/measure HR metrics in the context of a project but not organization/company. I would like to perform research on what HR metrics do Hr professionals apply/implement in delevering a successful project to the client. I am a bit scared about the literature review and field work.I am from Northumbria university,newcastle.Please suggest me.

Hello Pavan,
First, you need to see if there is any work done on the field you have chosen. If there is not much work done; are there any works on similar situations. If you can't find any, then I suggest you chose another topic.
See if any at HR Metrics And Strategy, from Cornell University - Business White Papers, Webcasts and Case Studies | BNET interst you and then write to the authors.
