New HR Executive in IT: Which Laws Should I List for My Company?

Hi all,

I am recently employed in the IT industry as an HR Executive with close to 100 employees. My boss has instructed me to prepare a list of all applicable acts for the company. As far as my knowledge goes, there are no specific laws related to IT... I guess? Whether it's an IT or manufacturing company, the acts will be applicable based on the regulations in place. Am I correct? Please reply. I need to provide this information as soon as possible.

Dear Poster,

The Shops and Establishments Act, Provident Fund Act, ESI Act, Industrial Dispute Act, Gratuity Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, Equal Remuneration Act, Maternity Benefits Act, except for the Factory Act 1948, all other labor acts would be applicable.
