Need Help Structuring My HR Project on Retention Strategies in Pharma – Only 8 Days Left!

yuks24
Hi, I am Yukti and I am doing a Diploma in HRM. As a part of our curriculum, I am supposed to make a project. Since I am already working in a pharmaceutical company, I have chosen my topic as Retention strategies in a Pharma company. I need your guidance on how this project should be structured and what points need to be covered. I have only 8 days left to submit the project. Will I be able to complete it?

Regards,
Yukti

Hi,

The best course of action would be to speak with your guide, either at your company or at your school, to assist you with your studies. Ultimately, your project should benefit the company you are working with, not solely for your own learning. I recommend following these steps:

1. Begin by defining the project objective (research objective).
2. Outline your research methodology (primary research, secondary research, etc.).
3. Carry out your research.
4. Verify the results.
5. Present your findings (report, presentation).

Hi Yukti,

First of all, I would like to tell you that your project is specifically related to research. So, I think you have to clear all your research fundamentals. I am also working in this area, and whenever I get information, I will send it to you.

Quite late posting a reply, but some of the steps taken by one of the pharma companies in India were [this I read in my first year in MBA]. This is one of the unique things they did [well, our director was a consultant for them]. They gave higher designations to the sales staff (territory sales officers, etc.), which is said to have created a mental block for the employees to switch companies [they wouldn't go for lower levels even if the salary was slightly higher].

Hi everyone. I am doing my M.Pharm in Pharma Management from DIPSAR. As part of my curriculum, I am supposed to prepare my project, a mini project to be frank. As HR interests me a lot, I chose "Employee Retention Techniques."

Guys, I need help because the situation is pathetic in the institution. I have no guide!
