Can anybody throw a light on the Sexual Harassment Committee?
Is it necessary to have Sexual Harassment committee in every company?

Since there is no law in this regard, certain guidelines and rules are there as per SC
Complaints Committee needs to be constituted in a company where women employees are working it seems. As per my knowledge if you r not able to form a commitee atleast you should have Sexual Harassment policy.

As per my knoledge it is good thing to have a such committee in IT Company,to improve & maintain a good quality of worklife of women emp's. and their security too.

HI ruchi,
All companies whic have a "harassment policy" policy as a part of the Corporate policy manual- need to have a committee in place. Also there are some guidelines on the constitution of these commities.

as per the guidance of supreme court every company should have prevention of sexual
harrasment policy.supreme court has given guidelines in this regard.

Any registered organization with 10 or more employees is mandated to have a sexual harassment policy as well as a sexual harassment internal complaints comittee. Please refer to the govt ruling on this: https://www.citehr.com/attachments/1...tion-redressal
There is even specific guideline on the members of the ICC.
