1. What is Gross Salary? - The Salary which is structured without any deduction i.e PF,ESI,PT, Welfare & Income Tax etc.
2. What is Net Salary? - Salary after Deductions.
3. What are the mandatory components to be included in the salary structure? - BAsic, HRA, Conveyance, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus.
4. What are the components that are/can be incorporated in the salary strucutre for the tax benefit of the employees? - Basic, HRA, all others reimbursement parts.
5. What categories are the components classified into? - All above noted parts
6. Can the employer contribution towards PF, ESI and Gratuity etc be shown in the CTC? - Yes.
7. What should be the % split up of the components as per law? - No Hard & Fast Law.

Is there any percentage ratio for Basic & HRA of Total CTC? If Could you please assist with % Ratio for the same..
