Navratri Celebration Ideas: How Can We Make It Special at the Office?

Please, could somebody suggest a function that could be organized in the office on the occasion of Navratri? Thanks!

Hey! I know I'm replying really late. You can, of course, organize the Dandiya Night on this Friday or Saturday. You can have the dress code decided. You can have prizes for the best-dressed male & female, best dandiyas, best dancer male & female.

Even before the Navratri starts, you can actually send a mail mentioning that the dress code for these 9 days is Indian ethnic and colors for each day, as each day has some significance. I have observed ladies following a particular pattern in terms of color preference. Hope this helps you. Enjoy!!

You can organize for an "ayud pooja" followed by a "get-together lunch program" also. For example, on Friday or Saturday.

I have a good idea. If your management approves, please decorate your office with dandiya and bandhani dupattas. Organize a traditional dandiya festival day in the office. Circulate an email to office staff to wear chaniya choli and Indian Gujarati sarees for females, and dhoti kurta for males. Traditional wear itself is an occasion of Navratri festival.
