babita17may
Dear All,

I am Babita from Delhi. I am pursuing a degree from Vinayaka Missions University, Salem, Tamil Nadu. I need a research guide who can help me in preparing the synopsis first and then the dissertation to complete my studies.

I have to submit the synopsis before 15th March 2009. Can anybody help me with the topic to choose?

My email ID is babita17may@yahoo.com and my cell number is 9310389803.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Babita

Sir,

Thank you so much for helping me. It would be my pleasure to have you as my guide. Actually, the problem is I'm having a 1.5-year-old boy with me. Though I wanted to research on a challenging and tough subject, now I'm in a fix. Can you please suggest some quite simple and easy topics on HR for me to carry out my research? Once the topic is finalized, it would be easier for me to work on the synopsis. My deadline for the synopsis is 15th March, so there are only a few days left. I would be highly obliged. Please provide me with your email address.

Could you please elaborate on a topic related to Communication Management, Knowledge Management, or any other relevant topic?

Thanks & Regards,
Babita

Hi, I am a master's student specializing in HRM. I am facing significant difficulty in coming up with a research question. My idea is to focus on succession planning, human resource advantage, and retention and how they impact a firm's competitive advantage. I find myself going in circles on how to develop this into a coherent topic. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Only a rigorous review of literature can help in identifying the topic for research based on your inclination. It cannot be dictated by your guide. You should follow the methodology of leading studies, making embellishments here and there. If primary data cannot be accessed due to a lack of time, you can rely on secondary data for both the review of literature and secondary data. The internet is a boon that can be utilized to the maximum. All the best.

Thank you, Patrick, for the advice. I have been saying the same thing over and over again. Students seem to "put the cart before the horse," as the saying goes. They would like a title, objectives, etc., without conducting RLR.

Hi,

I have completed PGDHR & Personnel Management and I am currently working as an HR Executive in a private company. I am interested in pursuing an MPhil/PhD in HR. Could you kindly suggest some universities that offer these courses?

Also, I am considering joining the program at Vinayaka Mission University. Is this university reputable or not in terms of accreditation?

Thank you.
