I would like to know my PF balance as of today. I am working in Chennai. My PF Account No is TN/MS/48771/816. Is there a way to find my balance online using any link, or if I post here, can somebody let me know my balance and send an email to prasadh82@gmail.com? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dear All,

If you want to know your P.F. balance, you should contact your HR person or the individual responsible for managing your P.F. in our organization. Ask them to obtain Form 23C from the P.F. office, as this is the only way to find out your P.F. balance.

Every year, the PF Department sends a slip that mentions the amount deposited into your account. Please ask your employer for this slip, which they received from the PF department.

Dear All,

You don't have anything online to check your PF balance. The only way is to talk to your Accounts/Finance Department about it or walk into the PF Office where your accounts have been opened and find out from there.

Hi all,

I don't think it is possible to get balance details through NET. However, all other information is available. For example, http://www.epfochennai.tn.nic.in is the website for Tamil Nadu. Please contact your EPF office. They will definitely help you.

I hope you have your last year's Annual Account Statement with you. That will have your balance till last February. You can add your this year's contribution (yours plus company's) to the last year's balance. You will get an approximate figure. Your HR department will be able to help you.

As of now, the only possibility is the Annual Slip given by the PF office for the period March - February. Currently, most of the Regional PF Offices are undergoing rapid computerization to introduce a kiosk model for better transparency, but it will take time.

Check with your Company HR personnel; they should be able to issue the annual slip at least for the year 2008-2009.

Hi, my name is Ravinder Malik. I am from Faridabad. My P.F. A/C number is HR/5572/146176. I applied for a refund of my P.F. amount with my last company, HCL Technologies, located in Noida, on 1st March 2010. I had given them a canceled check from my Standard Chartered Bank A/C. I haven't received the amount yet. The HR department of HCL told me that the amount would be transferred to my account within 60 days. Please be informed that currently, there is no facility available to check your PF balance online. The only way to obtain this information is by contacting the HR department of the company. The HR department maintains PF challans for all employees and will be able to provide you with details regarding your total balance.

I am not getting why you people are asking that type of query because I think we all are from HR, so this is our duty to know what the resources are to get the balance of our own PF account.

Don't take me otherwise; I'll brief you. For example, use 23, etc., or create your own sheet.

Take an Excel sheet:
- Month
- Year
- Basic salary
- Deduction amount of employee
- Employer
- Total deduction

My PF Account Balance Enquiry

I would like to know my PF balance. I am working in Kolkata. My PF Account No is WB/44890.

My Employee Share is 28,864, Employer Share 8,828, Pension Contribution 16,933. The total amount is 54,625 (including pension). Is there any tax for this withdrawal? I have a PAN card, but my PAN card is not added on the website. If I add the PAN name and number, they display (functionality will be available once UAN is linked to any establishment). I don't know the correct answer. Could you help me and send it to my email address?

If I get the employer share and Employee Share (without pension), will I get the amount without tax?
