Dear Gaurav,

I think that PT slabs remain the same, which means they were the same for the year 2008 as well. Does it change on a yearly basis?

I am not able to find new PT slabs for TN in Professional Tax or Welcome to Corporation of Chennai. Please clarify.

The PT slab as of today is as follows: below 5000 gross is 0, 5000 gross to 10,000 is 175, and above 10,000 is 200 per month for eleven months, with the 12th month being 300.

Please note that these slabs are not in Madhya Pradesh. Please refer to the notification from the MP government.
