Hi all,
I am Radha, a new member at CiteHr although not new to HR.... I really love the way this site manages to bring in the creme of the HR fraternity on one platform to share views and opinions on mutually relevant topics.
I had a great time reading some of the fabulous articles posted here.
Well i am a post graduate in Psychology and HR is a subject very close to my soul i should say... and thats what brings me to this family of HR enthusiasts.
I am also on this site to find some advise on pursuing a career in HR, my case is a tad different because i do not have an MBA in HR, nor do i have relevant HR experience.. I have posted my profile on the " HR Professionals Forum" seeking for opportunities in OB and OD.
I passionately want to have a career in HR, i have about 6 years of experience but mostly in Customer Service, for the last 1 yr i have been on my own consulting as a behavioural trainer for B schools in Bangalore.
Its my passion for people development and learnings that steered my career in this direction...
Please do read my other post which has my profile details and tell me, Isnt it possible for someone to have a career in HR, without having the specific academic background or experience, although he/she may possess all the required skill sets and knowledge for the role? :?:
Would love to get some thoughts on this from veteran members at CiteHR.
Looking forward to greater learning and a lot of fun out here..
Thank you for the patient reading and time.
Best Regards
Radha
