Normaly, only PL/EL is being encashed while leaving an employee. Limitation of days of PL/EL encashment and encashment of SL is depending up on the policy of the organization ,which is vary from organization to organization.

Hi Priya,
The casual leave shall be not combined with earned leave(EL or PL).The unavailed earned leave can be carried forward to the next year,up to maximum pf two years(24 days).
An employee is eligible for 12 days of earned leave in a year.Earned leave can be avalied only on completion of one year of service by the employee in the organisation. The earned leave taken in the first year of service will be treated as loss of pay and will be deducted in the payroll.
Earned year should be planned in the beginning of the calendar year and cannot be taken for more than 3 times in a year.
At the time of separation, unavailed earned leave can be encashed as a part of final settlement.
This may be differ from one organisation to another.
Warmest Regards,

Hi Neha,
PL / Earned Leave is encashable at the time of separation. Generally, upto 30 leaves per annum can be accumulated & maximum encashment Leave Quota differs from organization to organization.
However, generally the upper limit is 300 leaves. Also, SL is encashable at the time of separation.
CL can be clubbed only with unavailed SL.
