Hi,
Change, in most cases, involves opting for a brand name. This could be due to various factors such as company reputation, salary, overseas opportunities, and enhancement of knowledge. These factors often drive individuals to seek new job opportunities.
Even employees working for well-known companies may consider leaving if they are offered roles with higher responsibilities, such as heading a division, increased pay (as they are paid for heading the division), and more flexibility in decision-making. Predicting exactly when someone will switch jobs can be challenging. However, if you recognize that a skilled employee is feeling undervalued due to low pay and you are aware of a booming job market in their field, it is likely they will consider making a move.
Most of the time, as HR professionals, we find it difficult to understand the thoughts and motivations of others.
