Rethinking HR Goals: How Should We Set Our Objectives This Time?

Can anyone suggest how the goals and objectives should look for the HR department this time? We are planning to approach it differently. Please help me.

Dear Vandana,

The goals for HR may comprise of the following:

Area: Recruitment

Goal 1: Reduce Recruitment cost by 10% compared to last year.

Goal 2: Fill in all vacancies within 60 days from the resource request approval, etc.

Area: Training

Goal 1: Prepare a Training Needs Analysis plan by the 1st quarter.

Goal 2: Prepare a Training calendar by the 1st quarter, etc.

You may also use the attached format to assign goals, measure them, and evaluate them.

Thank you for the reply. In our company, we always work on new things. Please find the enclosed attachment of G&O for the years 2007 and 2008. For the year 2009, we want to do something new that has not been repeated. Please help me.
