Job Hunting After a Year-Long Maternity Break: Is It Really That Tough?

I would like to request all of you to inform me if it is difficult to find a job after taking a one-year maternity break.

Yes, Shweta. According to me, it's difficult; however, not impossible. People to whom you give an interview after a gap of 1 year think that you have lost that link and 'used to' tendency toward work, especially in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and many other things.

I myself have a gap of 6 months after having a baby. I was working with retail as an HR/IR executive. Now, when I want to start with some decent salary, it's becoming difficult. :(
