Business Development Manager:

Location: Pune

Field: Sales & Marketing in Education & Training Sector

An opportunity has arisen to join a truly reputable and respected global company as a Business Development Manager in the Pune area. The focus of this role is to acquire new business and further develop specific customers from the commercial markets. This is a solution-based selling role allowing plenty of autonomy that goes hand in hand with accountability.

Duties of the role include:

- Proactive & consultative sales activities to meet all Targets & Objectives
- Approach and engage with 'C' Level decision-makers by cold calling, etc.
- Qualify Corporate Training business
- Negotiate commercial terms & requirements
- Obtain face-to-face meetings and obtain Client requirements through listening skills
- Maintain an ongoing sales pipeline of at least 3 times the monthly forecast
- Tender Presentations & Proposals to large groups in Private & Government Sectors

Experience necessary to fulfill this position includes:

- At least 5 years of Solution Sales experience in any service sector or other high-performance based sectors
- A solid understanding of the business markets (especially business payments)
- Territory qualified
- Proven track record of being a consistent high achiever
- Ability to work autonomously essential
- Excellent presentation skills, counseling ability, and highly effective time management
- Candidates with prior experience in Concept Selling & services industry, with knowledge of Franchisee Development an advantage
- Willing to travel
- Strong Business Development/Account Management experience
- English must & other languages are a bonus
- Professional in approach to prospects
- Results-oriented individual who has a pleasant disposition

Job Description:

You should be working with a Group in Education & Training, having complete expertise in Corporate Training, Tailor-made Training, Management Training, or other Vocational Skills Development programs and allied products/services. Present proposals for Educational & Training programs in Pune & other Cities; Obtain Orders/Contracts from various Private & Public Organizations, Schools, Colleges, Institutions, etc; Guide them with various Educational & Training Products; Prepare necessary documentation; Work with the Corporate Heads to put together the need for training in a manner that ensures a strong likelihood of target success; Maintain & Follow-up a record of all Leads filed; Interact positively with clients; Actively attend phone calls; Follow-up with clients and streamline processes and systems for effective functioning of the office. The earning potential for this position is extremely high. The package includes a base salary, Travel allowance, laptop, phone, and superannuation. The commission is uncapped with some high performers earning far more than Targets.
