This thread actually brought all those people together who love to try out and think outside of the box. I don't care for the real answers, but what I do like is how everyone is trying to give their answers and be innovative.

This is more important than looking for the so-called "right" answer.

I remember once a student in class 7 was asked the train coach number in which he had come to the town to appear for the admission interview. The student promptly replied - 85642. Who actually cares to remember those numbers on the train coaches... the idea is to see how they react to a situation - that's the real intelligence test.

During my own school admission interview, they asked me which games I play. I told them - cricket, football, and hockey. None of them I actually play. And frankly, how can a child of 8 years know how to play ALL three games?

Although a silly answer that I gave - but relevant to the situation.

I have been reading such stories for quite a long time... we all have got the message that how we react is damn important... I read about a guy who was asked the number of stairs he had just climbed up while coming into the office... he too replied PROMPTLY... a fake number... when asked about the train coach number (or anything alike)... are we supposed to answer promptly with a fake answer? Or can one simply say "Sir, I don't know." Wouldn't this have been an apt answer as they know that no one bothers about these numbers... Don't you guys think being honest is more important than being ultra-prompt and false? I didn't mean to defy any thought or offend anyone... just poured my heart... thanks... Prashant
