Is Anyone Else Struggling to Access CiteHR Pages? Let's Save Our Community Together

Smitha Vikas
Hey there,

Can somebody tell me what has happened to Cite HR? I am unable to view some of the pages of late. It is not a system issue and happens with all the systems. This is a way I survive when there is no hope. Save the cite!!! We need it!!!

Dear,

I agree with your views. I am also facing problems for the last four to five days. What has happened to this site?

Thanks,

The icons/pictures would never download in the past week or so. Today morning, it seems to be working fine now. Hope it remains fine.

How have you been experiencing this from the morning of February 4th onwards? Please provide a detailed explanation.

Dear,

It has become normal now, otherwise creating a problem since the last 4-5 days.

Thanks,

I am also facing the same problem. None of the pages are opening nicely. When we click, we have to wait for hours to go to the next page. Everywhere there is a crossmark, as if this need not be downloaded on my computer. Last but not the least, it also happens that when I log in, a message appears for hours that to view, you need to be a member of this site, whereas I am a regular visitor of this site.

Please request everyone to preserve this site as it is very useful for all HR professionals. None of the HR individuals can say that they have not benefited from this site at one time or another.

The page takes hours to open now! I wonder what's wrong with CiteHR these days. I've been having similar issues for the last 10 days. I think the download policy needs to be changed as well. Any thoughts, guys?

It worked fine in the morning, but now the speed is extremely slow. The technical team needs to look into this more seriously. As the popularity increases, more people are accessing the site simultaneously, and I believe it is a load management issue.

PLEASE HELP US!!!!!!!

The same problem I was facing. When I clicked on the post, the message showed "too many connections." I thought the site may be stuck from an overload of visitors :-P. Thanks to the Citehr Technical team, all is back to normal.

Hi,

The problem is still there. I am unable to open any link instantly. It's taking a lot of time for every link, with or without attachment, to open. Please ask the HR technical team to rectify it as soon as possible, as we need the site every day for our HR activities and references.

All of a sudden, the citehr site went down and was not opening. Some users are now reporting that it is working well, but I am still unable to access it today. Other sites are functioning properly, indicating a connectivity issue specifically with citehr. Please investigate this matter, and the relevant person should take immediate action to rectify the site promptly. Let's maintain a professional approach!

There is a massive influx of traffic, and we are running short on processing power. I will be discussing this with our web host, and we will upgrade and add more servers so that we can handle the traffic. Please bear with us in the meantime.

I can't open the attachment files... Oh, please help. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

---

I have corrected the spelling and grammar errors in the user's input and added a single line break between the paragraphs to ensure proper formatting. The meaning and tone of the message have been preserved.

Thank you, CHR, for your response.

I can't stop myself from reinforcing the fact that the traffic would increase much more in the future. So, advanced planning for load distribution/routing would need to be considered for a long-term point of view.

How are things with other Site Management sites (citeops, etc)?

All the best for your efforts; this is so popular now that we can't live without it for even an hour. Can't help loving it so much :-D

I too agree... CiteHR has always been very beneficial and thus, a very important site. However, these days, hardly any pages are getting opened. Moreover, I once saw an article titled "Alternatives to Training," but now I need that article and cannot find it. Please help me. :(
